The work being carried out on the other side of South Marsh Road, directly opposite the Cress Marsh parking area is an extension to the Kia car terminal.
The plant that will manufacture jet fuel from waste is being constructed off Hobson Way (opposite the power station) the other side of the railway line that runs along part of the Cress Marsh perimeter.

That's what I guessed looking at it. If so, its very worrying...and disappointing.
Having just looked at the aerial shots again, and by using Google maps...I think the images are pre-Cress marsh reserve/hide etc.
Therefore, it would appear the plans are actually on top of the reserves current location!!

From the aerial shots of the site for the new Jet Fuel Production Plant am I right in deducing that its slap bang next to the new Cress Mash Nature Reserve? No mention of this in Grimsby Telegraph
