Birds were largely absent from Humberston Fitties pools for part of yesterday morning because they were getting grief from a low-flying microlite. However, normal feeding activity resumed today with waders present at dusk consisting of three ruff, two greenshank, three redshank, one lapwing and 15 little egret. By 8.20pm, it was too dark to detect any smaller waders.
An hour earlier, there were two swifts over Cleethorpes.
