Hi Jim,

J6N8 is back for its 7th consecutive winter. It was last reported in its native Oslo area on the 10/06 and I first noted it back at Cleethorpes on the 18/07.

The metal-ringed bird could well be HA17.314 - this bird spent last winter in the Buck Beck car park/Boating Lake area and I've noted it a couple of times in recent weeks.
It was ringed as a nestling on 16/06/2013 at Niedaus ežero sala, Lazdijų r., Lithuania.

Regards

Chris

Two ringed b-h gulls being fed on scraps at Buck Beck car park, Cleethorpes, today.

One is an old friend - J6N8

Based on info in Chris Atkins' post of last November, this bird was ringed as a chick in Oslo on 12/06/11.

It must like Cleethorpe!.

Couldn't get a decent shot of the ring on the other bird (see pic)
