East Halton was created by Peter Crick
Late afternoon visit to Winters Brick Pit. Seen from the entrance gate: very little on water.

Black Tailed Godwit c400, could only see one ringed bird. (more arrivals while I was there)
Canada Geese 15
Greylag 6
Mute Swan 2
Moorhen 1
Coot 20
Mallard 8 all females
Tufted Duck 3. females
Grey Heron
Lapwings 30+ over
Sandpiper too distant for pos ID (no scope with me)
Mixed flock of approx 25-30 feeding Swallow and House Martins

Large carp turning in the lake margins
