Just 12 redshank showing a 6pm today. Similar number of little egrets. Also two greenshank, one lapwing, three dunlin and one heron (with a persistent cough).

Earlier, there was a very noisy common sandpiper on lakeside mud in Cleethorpes Country Park.

Strong movement of swifts over Cleethorpes has been continuing all this week.

At 7pm, a calling whimbrel flew high over Cleethorpes main beach.
