I observed an adult feeding a recently fledged juvenile in Baumber churchyard yesterday afternoon after Greg Roberts had reported seeing birds over the weekend with up to 5 individuals thus indicating a family party.

sadly the same at Willingham by Stow this year. A single bird returned to the churchyard late June as it did last year. None seen at Fillingham lake either.

Where have allour local spotflys gone - many churchyards and previous hot spots seem to be lacking them over the last few years - I cant find any at hill holt either -any body know of any this year
