A juvenile Wheatear was at Pyes Hall South Point this morning, waders noted were 1 Grey Plover, Knot, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Greenshank and 12 Common Sandpiper.
The highlight however was 2 Clouded Yellow butterflies.

The breach has now been done although not fully completed. There were a few birds in the bushes on the south side of Pyes Hall Point.
Willow Warbler, Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat and Long-tailed Tit.
I don't think the trees and bushes on Pyes Hall north point will survive long as the water seemed quite high on the hall site.

I went to Stonebridge car park on the 21/6 and was surprised to find the breach work at Pyes Hall has finally started.
I walked as far as Pyes Hall on the 23rd but a fence prevented any further travel.
The only birds of note were a Golden Plover and a Cuckoo.
