Possible lesser spot?

I've hesitated in posting this as it will probably be dismissed out of hand!
Sitting outside the Ramblers' Church, Walesby last Saturday around 13.00 (TF138923) We saw a small, dumpy bird fly from a small tree. It gave a single 'chik' and flew westward with a deeply undulating flight. We were looking against the light so couldn't see any markings, but my first thought was lesser spotted wood. I saw one about 5 years ago in Hartsholme Park and that flew in a similar manner.
Make of it what you will!
