Three ring ouzels showing well in alpaca paddock at Braybrook Farm, Tetney Lock at 9am today. Also at 12.30 by which time they had relocated to horse field adjacent to neighbouring Braybrook Cottage. Close by was a single wheatear, but yesterday's fieldfares had gone.

At nearby Tetney Outfall Sluice, a grasshopper warbler was singing in undergrowth.

Further out in direction of Horseshoe Point, notables included five brent geese, a yellow wagtail and, in quick succession, a female hen harrier and a short-eared owl. Linnets, meadow pipits, reed buntings and skylarks were all plentiful.

At Cleethorpes Country Park, the tally of eight g-c grebes on the lake is surprisingly high at this time of year for a relatively small area of water.

Loads of butterflied about - mostly peacocks with a few orangetips and a brimstone

Can anyone help out on the Horseshoe Point bird listed today in the website's Colour Ring section?
