Morning all,
Season's greetings to all, hope you have a great time and best wishes for 2019. Following a communication with the BBRC who are having a clear out of old paper records (back to 1958, the date of their inception), LBC has received a bundle of these for the archive. One which caught my eye was of the UK's second Whistling Swan, a county first, found by Kev Durose at Nocton Fen in January 1998. There are no photographs of this bird (not sure about the other UK record). Kev had submitted a sketch which I photographed and added to the account in The Lincs List pages here lincsbirdclub.co.uk/site/index.php/infor...-whistling-swan-bbrc . A very clear image of this vanishingly rare visitor to the UK!
Cheers

Phil
