The LBC committee meeting was held at Hemingby on Tuesday of this week.

Agenda items included: Arrangements for next year’s county bird report; production arrangements for the newsletter; encouraging young members; the proposed joint conference with the BTO next year.

The minutes of the meeting have been written up and are due to be posted on the website shortly.

Meanwhile, minutes of the February meeting of the committee (already posted in the website Information section) were formally approved.

Note: not much progress was made on how we might encourage more under-30s to become club members. Any ideas would be most welcome either via posts on the website or to any club member whose email addresses are listed in the website.
