The video is probably too large to upload so found a photo from May of juvs Starling using cup and saucer feeder. Didn't realise all the birds been using it for months.

For the past few weeks getting a decent number of tit's in gardens (daresay some bright spark will give a wry comment saying they have had far more, good for them) and getting lots of entertainment from their antics. At fledging time I was getting four Great Tit and Three Blue Tit, this past week that has grown to c12 Blue Tit every day plus c6 Great Tit, 3 Long-tailed Tit and a Coal Tit. In back garden I have one of those four inch square feeders for fat slabs on the 18th counted seven Blue Tit on it with three more waiting their turn plus the Great Tits squabbling with all comers. With all the trees and shrubs at back wouldn't be surprised if the Blue Tit number is more like twenty then in the front garden I have a cup is laid on side and glued to saucer feeder which I put either sunflower hearts or black sunflower seeds all the tit's love it. Can honestly say I get more entertainment and pleasure watching these wee birds than I did watching Sea Eagles and Golden Eagles in Scotland many times!

I have two of these cup & saucer feeders both of which were presents from my next door neighbours, sometimes I put suet pellets in them, the wee birds do take them but not readily as the sunflower types. I have a video of the tits on one of these feeders will try and upload it

On the 18th Aug had a male Blackcap pop in and today the 20th had a male Reed Bunting call in for a drink.
