Stuart,
My better half , John, is a joint member with me and has just picked up his lichen studies again this year, so I'll ask him if he has any records from when we've visited Linwood Warren if you' re interested.
Many years ago, I did have an interesting windfall there but it could have been from elsewhere ( didn't go with trees I was under) and I doubt he will remember as it blew onto me when we were apart and I know very little about lichens.

Icelandic Moss (cetraria islandica) occurred at Linwood Warren but I don't know whether it does now - perhaps Prof. John might know?

Lincoln University academic Prof Libby John (pictured) is due to take over as chair of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust when it holds its annual meeting on October 26.

She is an authority on plant ecology, especially lichens.

She will be succeeding Anita Quigley who is stepping down from the board of trustees after 14 years, the last three as chair.
