I like tis photo of a whooper swan that has been posted today on the Facebook page of Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue.

The bird made an emergency landing in a Louth garden and was retrieved - apparently uninjured - and relocated by the charity elsewhere on its migration route to Iceland or wherever.
