Yes mate, we never know what we going to get on our patch. And yes it is a Harbour Porpoise, after I text you I also text my other mate who has seen far more of them than me, and he said the fin gives it away.

What an amazing sight in Scunthorpe !!

Watched it a few times and going by the shape of the fin I am fairly sure it is an Harbour Porpoise

Dolphins??? was created by John T Goy
Today viewed a YouTube channel run by a guy near me (do not know him) its called Lincolnshire Explored and Exposed its a mixture of things including wildlife. Today he has two short videos both of the River Trent near Keadby Bridge, he says there are dolphins swimming about, I have looked at the videos a few times and although not a clear view they look like Porpoises. I have rarely seen them or dolphins in my life and certainly neither on my patch or anywhere near. Have seen Porpoise in Humber off Chowder Ness many years ago. The only Dolphins I have seen were in Wales.

Can anyone have a gander and see what you think.  I have asked two mates to view but as yet not heard anything.

Cheers
John
