Cairngorm Travel have this afternoon been in touch to say there has been a cancellation for the birding trip to Kingussie, near Loch Garten, in the Scottish Highlands on May 1 (returning May 5).

That means one double room has become available at £300 per person.

The coach pick-ups are at Cleethorpes, Grimsby and Scunthorpe, with some minibus feeders - eg to and from Louth and Lincoln.

We're hoping to see/hear the likes of crested tits, crossbills, redstarts, flycatchers, wood warblers, ospreys and more.

Booking is direct with Cairngorm Travel at 01405 761334

The Lincs Bird Club trip to the Cairngorms in May is now fully booked.

Although there are spaces on the coach, rooms at the Duke of Gordon hotel have all been taken because they have another group on the same dates.

Cairngorm Travel say they will get in touch is there is any late availability resulting from cancellations.
