Plotholders at an allotments site in Cleethorpes are hoping to install five CCTV cameras to record wildlife.

There are 120 individual plots on the 7.4-acre site off Montgomery Road in the town.

A planning application has been submitted by Fiona Milner, of  Beacon Hill Allotment and Leisure Gardeners' Society.

The hope is that the cameras will also deter/detect fruit and veg pilferers

The proposal  is expected to be determined early in the New Year by North East Lincolnshire Council.
