The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, which has many members in the Grimsby area, is this week counting the cost of Storm Babet 2023.

Along with many properties in Horncastle, Banovallum House, its head office in the town, was flooded.

The Trust said today: "Unfortunately, on Friday night, our HQ at Banovallum House in Horncastle was flooded, meaning over the next few days all hands will be on deck sorting through the damage.

"Our phone lines will not be managed and Banovallum House will be closed during this time."
