Our pals at Cairgorm Travel/ Duke of Gordon Hotel  have been in touch .

They say they  so much enjoyed hosting us at, Kingussie, in mid-April this year that they would like to repeat the venture with birders from our club and from the Grimsby and Lincoln RSPB groups.

I said April was a bit early for redstarts, wood warblers, tree pipits, divers etc, so they replied that they could do a five-day/four night slot, starting  May 1, 2024. Price £299.

The two excursions are yet to be determined - possibly to RSPB Loch Garten and possibly to the funicular railway to admire the views/ resume the quest for ptarmigan, snow buntings and dotterel.

It's early doors  but if anyone thinks they might be interested, let me know via the Forum or ( Secretary@Lincsbirdclub.co.uk ) so I can  advise Cairngorm of extent of provisional interest and if the proposed May birding holiday might be a goer.
