We were at Cleethorpes on Wednesday and someone had thrown a few chips on the sand which obviously attracted some 'Seagulls'. Closer inspection revealed 9 Black-Headed Gulls in various stages of black headedness, and singles of immaculate Herring, Lesser Black- Backed and Common Gull. Nice little lesson in gulls if anyone was interested ; no one was!

Cheers Pete

A rare treat! I was pleased to see this newspaper columnist, Ed Cumming,  putting the case for gulls in today's edition of The Daily Telegraph.
