Proposed salmon 'farm' - ornithology report

An ornithology report has been submitted as part of documents relating to  proposed construction of an indoor salmon 'farm' adjacent to the Humber at the north end of Cleethorpes.

The site is of interest to birders because it is an occasional stop-off habitat for migrants (including bluethroat and red-backed shrike). It is monitored thoroughly by John Nelson whose most recent 'notable' find for the site was an overhead Alpine swift earlier this year.
