Nightingales make the headlines - but for the wrong reasons

As far as I know, there have been no sightings/hearings at Whisby Nature Reserve so far this spring - for the second year running. 

It must be heartbreaking for Grahame Hopwood, warden, and his team at the Lincs Wildlife Trust who have done everything possible to make the site nightingale-friendly.  

I understand there may just be one or two pairs - fingers crossed - at undisclosed locations in the south of Lincolnshire.
