I'll answer some of your questions John
2.   The sailing pit has a barrier.  You can park by the barrier and walk 150m to the nearest corner of the sailing pit.   Unfortunately that south side is also closed off by the angling club because of vandalism, but you can walk round the west side and up to the clubhouse and Humber bank.
3.  Yes, you park by the timber yard.
4.   Nick can no doubt confirm, but there is a bit of a walk to the Blow Wells
5.  I wouldn't say Chowder Ness is useless for birds, and the beardies go to that area in winter.
6.  You can park at the bottom of the hill at Alkborough and there are disabled bays.  At the right time of the year, only 2-300m walk for the beardies
8.  Can be very muddy at the Skitter car park but plenty of fishermen and dog walkers drive up onto the concrete embankment 'laybys'

Am sure someone or a few someones will know these questions.

! - Last year I was told that Pit 25 at Barton wasn't accessible by car as a bar had been places across track, is this correct?

2 - Is Sailing Pit at Barton still accessible by car?

3 - If I went to Barrow Haven do I still have to park in the timber yard opposite?

4 - Last time I went to Tetney Blow Wells about twenty years ago there was no where to park close to it, is it still same?

5 -  I was told last year that the area around Chowder Ness is useless for birding is this correct?  Not been for years.

6  -  In twenty years I have only seen a Bearded Tit once at Blacktoft when I was able to get about easier, I have seen on twitter feed people seeing them at Alkboro and Barton but daresay it involves lots of walking, anyone know?

7 - Not been to North Killingholme Reserve in many years, always really enjoyed, someone told me couple of years ago its best to go at weekend as there aren't as many HGV's going to haven due to limited parking, is this correct?

8  - Is there still parking at East Halton Skitter?

NO RUSH FOR ANSWERS AM NOT GOING ANY TIME SOON, just weighing up options where to go other than my local patch.

Cheers

John
