Replied by John T Goy on topic Humberside bias!
When I log on before I click on  the forum I always take five minutes or more looking on the home page at the Twitter feed, very simple to use it's not rocket science. On there most days is Frampton, Willow Fen, Boutham Mere, Trent Port, Marston, some coastal sites, Fiskerton to mention a few. Although I do have a Twitter account I never use it and don't need to to see the latest sightings in all areas of my county of those who prefer not to use the forum.

The members who use it are few and far between and I daresay not the younger generation.  I'm 74 going on 75 and can see my way around a computer because I have made an effort to do so, the more we learn the more we find useful.

I am not taking sides just saying what I do. Last year when I had a problem no one backed me up!

Be interesting who replies to your question Stuart, the ten regulars I expect.

Cheers
Max

Out of the last 60 entries on the Forum, 45 related to bird sightings.  Only 6 of these were not from the old South Humberside and the only one south of Market Rasen was from the Bourne area.  As 7 out of the 8 Forum moderators live south of Louth with two major reserves are south of Boston, why are there no entries on the Forum from that area?  I appreciate that not everyone uses the Forum but not everyone Tweets are use Bird Alerts!   It would be nice to hear from other parts of the county!
