Thanks Pete,
Not done any lists for best of fifteen years but just spent a while going through me Rob Hume guide and knew me total wouldn't be many with being sidelined till July other than what came in/over garden, so was pleasantly surprised to reach total of 84 as my memory serves, it's not easy thinking with no heating on (again), positive didn't get any life ticks, but had couple of in & over garden ticks with Cormorant and Redwing. I still live in hope of a Waxwing popping in or a Nuthatch LOL. It's just a pleasure to get out and about when am able, my days of going far are over, even going to the coast is a bit far nowadays. Thankfully with BB, FL and NW all possible to be seen sitting in or next to me car am well satisfied.
Kind regards
John aka Max

Cheers John, same to you mate. Had a good year this year with 172 species without too much chasing around after birds. Also got six lifers; Velvet Scoter, American Wigeon, Bittern,(finally!) Temink's Stint, Black-Winged Stilt, and Blue-Winged Teal. So let's hope we can get more next year and another six lifers in 2023. Happy Xmas and New Year to everyone out there and keep the Forum going!
Regards Pete and Jackie

Xmas & New Year Wishes. was created by John T Goy
It's that time again! This time last year wasn't able to wish you all anything, in fact I wasn't able to wish anyone I know anything, but that was last year.
I'd like to wish the select band who use this forum and keep it from going under "A Lovely Xmas, An Healthy New Year and An Excellent Wildlife Watching 2023".
Best Wishes
Max
