Incredible to think that great bustards once roamed the wolds and other parts of Lincolnshire!
On Saturday September 17 (11am) at Grimsby Town Hall, LBC chairman Phil Espin will be giving a talk entitled Departed Glory! The Great Bustard and Other Lost Birds of Lincolnshire.
This is likely to be a highlight of a series of heritage events being held up and down the county during the course of this month.
Admission is free.
