Can anyone supply biographical information about Roger Winslow - a birder who kept records of his sightings in Cleethorpes, Humberston (and latterly Market Rasen) in the 1950s and 1960s?

The appeal has been put out by the archives department at North East Lincolnshire Council which has recently acquired his handwritten notebooks.

As his enthusiasm and skill increased, he contributed data on Lapwings to the BTO which was investigating the species' preferred feeding sites on Lincolnshire fields.

If anyone can help with a few notes about RW, please contact the info to secretary@lincsbirdclub.co.uk   for it to be passed  on to the archives section.
