The Bull Sand fort, located 1.8 miles off birding hotspot Spurn Point, went under the hammer today.

It sold for £490,000 - almost 10 times the guide price of £50,000!

Who bought it? What will happen to it?

Because of its strategic location, guarding the East Coast of England, some suggest it might have been Russia.

Only time will tell.
