Global Birdfair update

Thanks to all those members who have expressed an interest/ willingness to help out on the LBC stand at Global Birdfair later this month.

However, we're still struggling for volunteers on the last day - Sunday July 17.

Admission will be paid to anyone willing to put in a shift for two hours or more.

Club chairman Phil Espin is booked to give a talk of up to half-an-hour on Lincolnshire's birds on Saturday July 16 at this year's Global Bird Fair.

This will be at 1pm  in the Curlew lecture theatre at the Rutland Showground in Oakham.

His twofold focus will be on the Lincolnshire Bird Trail, recently launched by Lincs County Council, and the book, Birds of Lincolnshire. 

We're still looking for volunters  help to look after the stand for a couple of hour or so - especially on Sunday. More info from Phil at:  pmj.espin@gmail.com

Meanwhile, is anyone able to give club member Julie Wood, who no longer drives, a lift from the Grimsby area to and from the event on any one of the three days? At the event itself, she would go independent around the show. Julie can be reached at lilyblossom@ntlworld.com

More than 200 exhibitors, including LBC, have signed up to take stand space.
