Another good walk this morning, although early July is not an ideal time for birding. Still managed to see around 50 species; best birds: Kingfisher, Golden Plover, Reed & Sedge Warbler, Whitethroat and Blackcap. Great to meet up with and chat to other members again.

Good afternoon birding on Saturday at Alkborough Flats and to meet up with other bird club members. Best birds: Bearded Tit, Spoonbill, Sand Martin, House Martin, Swift and Marsh Harrier.
