Hi Jim. Town's Holt is on the north side of the River Freshney, between Wyber's Wood and Laceby Acres, TA236085. I used to walk it with Bradders, from Great Coates Road near to St Michael's Church. It is also accessible via the Green Bridge on Tonnant Way, Laceby Acres.

Hi Jim. As far as I know Goosemans field is located in the area between Grimsby Crematorium and Scartho village. Across this area runs a drain named Goosemans Drain which runs toward the Crem. There is a public footpath routed between Weelsby Woods and St Giles Ave. area crossing the Parkway via the large footbridge.
If you access it from St Giles Ave., (nearest route) Goosemans fields is on your left as you follow the path and hedgeline towards the bridge.
Via Weelsby Woods, keep to the right hand path from the carpark, reaching the denser tree cover a public footpath is visible on your right through the hedge, follow the field edge before turning right to the footbridge, over which Goosemans field is on your right.
I’ve walked this many times, if anybody has a more precise location, please comment

Could anybody advise the whereabouts of Gooseman's Field in Grimsby? It occasionally gets a mention, usually in connection with spring-visiting ring ouzels. But I don't know where it is or how to find it?

Another query: where is Town's Holt, Grimsby? Is that easily accessed?

Thanks

Jim
