Is the Forum obsolete?

By chance I have just come across a load of Tweets from members of the LBC on the website with some excellent records of summer migrants etc.  None of these appear on the Forum so I have to assume that the vast majority of information never reaches it.  For the powers that be it beggars the question as to whether the Forum is a viable or effective way to share information with the membership.  I would welcome the views of some of the stalwart LBC members who do not appear to use or contribute to the Forum as to how information can be circulated to those of us who do not use Social Media to the degree that most appear to.  I hope this stimulates a response, particularly from the Officers of the LBC (apart from Jim)!
