No need to worry, John - the club is at no risk of folding

At the last committee meeting. I tentatively raised the issue of what might happen to the funds if the club were to pack up in the event of running out of committee members to keep the administration of it ticking over.

These things do sometimes happen to clubs (and other organisations) - sometimes from out of the blue.

Other committee members probably thought I was being unduly cautious, so the matter was not pursued.

Just caught up with the latest committee meeting last November and it made interesting reading as usual.

One section caught my eye and made me take notice where JWr mentioned something about LBC funds if the club folded ( hopefully not) is this something I missed reading while otherwise busy being ill? Do the committee know something us members don't?  Why on earth would the club be in danger of folding?  I'd like some answers please and I daresay other members who didn't know the above or haven't read the minutes would like to be told?

I for one would certainly miss the forum if nothing else!!

Regards

John
