On one of my Facebook groups the new walkway at Cleggy rail station is getting some stick, most are saying the £3.2 million was a complete waste of taxpayers money, on this occasion I decided to keep quiet and will be a bystander lol. It certainly looks well made and arty.

The steelwork reminds me of when I helped to build the barriers for the roll on roll off terminal at Immingham many moons ago!

A new footbridge currently being installed outside Cleethorpes Railway Station looks set to provide a good vantage point for birders. It will provide superb views of Chapman's Pond ( not open to the public)  which has breeding great-crested grebes and, in winter, is sometimes visited by long-tailed duck. Word is that it will be complete by the end of the year.
