We had a roe deer in our garden a few years ago. Currently getting 2 foxes and 2 hedgehogs each night + squirrels throughout day. We live on a normal road on an housing estate.

Deer was created by John T Goy
Yesterday one of my shoppers (who lives across from me) told me both she and a neighbour were stood at their gates before 09:00 when a deer ran past hell for leather, neither could believe their eyes, it went onto Enderby Road and towards the swimming baths, not sure if it could get onto the big field at the rear. Also she told me that a fox took a neighbours chickens a few years ago.
A few years back I once saw a fox across the road going along one of the side roads.
Interesting!
