Limited views from Bardney Lock and along the cycle path between five mile and Bardney.
Access on to Branston Island is private.
The land is leased from the Environment Agency who flood it to relieve the water in the River Witham.

branston island was created by Danny Walsh
i was at fiskerton fen again today and again marvelled at the distant sight of flooded branston island awash with birds - does anyone know if there is any access or where there is a good place to view it from a closer distance than short ferry - It is obviously a great refuge for the wildfowl if undisturbed but i wondered if there was any where else to view it closer
