The grid reference isn't essential, I can find in very quickly using either;
gridreferencefinder.com/
or
www.bnhs.co.uk/focuson/grabagridref/html/index.htm

I will happily submit a few notes on Cleethorpes Country Park within the next week or so
Why is map reference of sites required? I can see the value in pinpointing the location of a rarity in a remote part of the countryside, but not many people read OS maps these days.
Also, can we request permission from the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and the RSPB to lift the data from their respective websites? Wouldn’t that shortcut the process?

Ian,
Seems like a good deal and we would be happy to place a link back to the www.peterboroughbirdclub.com/ website as part of the deal?

Hello Andrew,
Would be happy to supply the South Lincs site directions we use on the Peterborough Bird Club. This would include Deeping Lakes, Deeping High Bank, Baston/Langtoft Gravel Pits and Baston Fen. May take a few weeks as like LBC we have just relaunched our website and my colleague Adrian Hallam is busy updating our site descriptions and putting them into a more modern format.I won't forget (famous last words).
Regards,
Ian Gordon

Birding Sites on the New Website was created by Andrew Chick
There are a number of Birding Sites reference pages on the new website at
lincsbirdclub.co.uk/site/index.php/information/birding-sites
They are all set out in a standard format (feedback on the layout most welcome....).
To date we have:
Brickyard Lane (Saltfleetby - Theddlethorpe Dunes SSSI)
Covenham Reservoir
Donna Nook
Gibraltar Point NNR
Marston STW
Paradise Pool (Saltfleet)
RSPB Frampton Marsh
RSPB Freiston Shore
I could do with a few more sites, anyone fancy compiling the required data and forwarding it to me for additional places… all I need is;
1) Nearest postcode
2) Site address
3) Site grid reference
4) Basic directions to get there by car (plus any other useful information if you have it)
5) A couple of paragraphs on the site, what you might see and when it’s best to go….
6) Any website links to the site (not essential)
7) Some photo (not essential but useful)
Send the above information to me (info@lincsbirdclub.co.uk) and I’ll do the rest…
