I thought members might be interested in this webinar...... it’s free!. The message below was sent by the chairman of Hope Valley Bird Club to which I belong. I haven’t been able to attach CV of speaker, I’m afraid. Joy

Hathersage Swift Group and Peak Boxes have invited Edward Meyer, who is internationally renowned as an authority on Swifts, to talk about these amazing birds on Wednesday 10th March at 19.30. Please see the attachment for his CV. Swifts grace our summer skies for a brief twelve weeks in which time they breed. Edward is a very entertaining speaker; he will explain their vulnerability and what part we can play in conserving these endangered birds. The talk will be superbly illustrated. Please see the second attachment for a summary of his talk.

The talk will be in the form of a webinar hosted by the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to whom we are very grateful. It is sponsored by the Hathersage Swift Group and Peak Boxes and will therefore be free to all attendees. So do join the webinar to learn and to be entertained.

If you would like to take advantage of this great opportunity, please register as soon as possible by connecting with the link: www.derbyshirewildlifetrust.org.uk/event...ts-bird-you-can-help

Within two months of the talk we should have Swifts gracing our skies again!
