One of the books featured in a recent edition of the club's newsletter, The Heron, was among 51 shortlisted in the British Birds/BTO Best Bird Book of the Year 2020 Awards.

The Ring Ouzel achieved 5th place.

Said the judges: ". . . Based on a 20-year local study by two amateur ornithologists, this book really packs a punch. With masses of original information and observations, it impressed the judges by its professional presentation and readability."

Thanks to a special arrangement, Lincs Bird Club members can secure a 20 per cent discount on the recommended retail price (extended until April 12) by inserting the code WPLINCS20 at the checkout of Whittles Publishing.
