Must have a look at it. The large area near Greetwell was where sand removals taken place and now it is is reverting back to a natural state. You can see over it from the public footpath on the bend going up to Greetwell. We have seen a mix of waders there including Avocet. Marsh Harrier been over and a Snow Bunting heard there as well. Could get really good given time.

Watched an interesting video on YT other night of a drone going over MSQ and surrounding area, blimey what changes have happened in the seven years since I was able to go further than the car park! It flew from Holme Lane/Bridalway over the private fishing ponds which I'd never seen other than from the top edge of the bridalway, what a smashing place to visit if allowed. Then it went east towards Greetwell and another shock another large pit been dug and now full of water, is it for fishing or wildlife? Then it came west towards the reserve, flipping heck didn't recognise the place with all the ponds surrounding it, one seemed quite large with three islands on, again is this for fishing or wildlife, think I remember it being dug. The area has certainly changed!

Regards

John
