Preparation of a proposed Lincolnshire Bird Atlas has been in a dormant state for many years, but happily green shoots have begun emerging.

That means publication is now a distinct possibility.

However, as stated in the latest newsletter, there is an urgent requirement for black and white line drawings of various species in order to provide a touch of quality/ prestige.

Nowadays, many birders prefer to wield a Nikon/Sony/Canon to a pencil and pad, but there is still a place for artwork - b/w as well as colour.

If there are any bird artists in the club’s ranks, please let any committee know or email secretary@lincsbirdclub.co.uk
