Could black stork, pygmy cormorant, Dalmatian pelican and even white-backed woodpecker become breeding birds of the future in the UK - possibly even in Lincolnshire?

Perhaps so according to expert ecologist andbirder Dr Alex Lees who gave a fascinating and extremely stimulating talk prior to the April 9 AGM of LBC.

Those who attended left the meeting with 101 (at least!) things to consider.

The new meeting venue - the Golf Hotel in Woodhall Spa - seemed to meet with general approval

Pictured from left, holding copies of the newly-published 2017 bird report, are: John Watt, Phil Espin, Alex Lees, his Brazilian partner Nagila Moura (also a birding/ecology expert) and Mike Harrison.
