Covenham Shag was created by Rob Stevenson
After finding a dead colour ringed Shag at Gibraltar Point on Sunday (Ringed 8th June 2023 at Fidra, Firth of Forth), we had a battle of will with the juv. Shag at Covenham on Monday afternoon, it stood defiantly on one leg - the wrong leg of course for ages. Fortunately it 'blinked' first, or rather needed to poop and walked backwards to the edge of the pontoon to do the necessary allowing the Blue colour ring to be red 'ZIA' - another Isle of May ringed bird 7th June 2023
