Black-headed Gull White J6N8 Ringed as a pullus at Ulsrudvann, Oslo, Akershus & Oslo, Norway on 12.06.2011

Seen at Cleethorpes Boating Lake 241117 and regularly reported from Buck Beck car park by Chris ATKIN, Neil Kurz and Josh Forrester. Seen at Buck Beck on 111013, 041014, 100815, 110916 and 080317

IK23 will probably be JK23 and again a Norwegian bird, STAVA will be Stavanger I guess. I am not ware of a BHG CR scheme using green rings beginning with letters other than C or J.

Regards

Nige

Two ringed b-h gulls at Buck Beck car park, Cleethorpes, on Feb 8 , 2018

One had a green ring - IK23. The data on the silver ring could not all be seen. The top line was STAVA . . The second line was MUS. The bottom line was 623.

The other had a white ring - J6N8. The silver ring carried the word NORWAY.

Any info on precisely where and when the birds were ringed would be appreciated.
