Birthday day out proved a very good day for butterflies! Saw more in ten minutes than have seen all year!

Tuetoes:

Meadow Brown - 12
Small Skipper - 6
GV White - 2
Ringlet - 2
Comma - 1
Small White - 2
Large White - 2

Laughton Boulders:

Comma - 2
Large White - 2
Meadow Brown - 10
Ringlet - 2

Scotton Common:

Meadow Brown - 6
Peacock - 1
Small Tortoiseshell - 1
Large & Small Whites.

Black Bank:

Large & Small Whites.
Small Skipper - 7
Meadow Brown - 1
Small Copper - 2  (highlight of day)

Saw a few dragons but didn't land.

Really enjoyable seeing a lot of butterflies at last!
