A smart Lesser Whitethroat was sheltering in the back garden on Friday 9th August.

Lots of butterflies on the shrubs; about a dozen Small Tortoiseshells, several Red Admirals, Painted Lady's, Small Whites, Meadow Browns, Gatekeepers and a Common Blue.

Heard a Corn Bunting singing from the back garden on 25th April.

A Tawny Owl was calling in the garden on 3rd April and two Tree Sparrows visited the bird feeders. Hopefully they will stay to breed in my brand new sparrow terrace!
