I can't believe no one else had a stab at it. It's not a bird that's ever been on my radar although I'd love to see one. It was the wings being longer than the tail that gave it away!

It's a long way from wheatear to black-winged pratincole, but congratulations, Pete, you are correct.
According to the club's Shetland source, David Hatton, the bird was on Fetlar in August 2021.
The prize would have been an all-expenses paid holiday for two at a destination of your choice - but only if you'd got it right first time.
Anyway, huge respect to you!
I doubt if I'd ever come up with the right answer.

I'm going out on a limb now, is it a juvenile Collared Pratincole?

By coincidence, I snapped a record shot of a juvenile wheatear on Shetland a fortnight ago (attached).
Re the bird report pic, you are at a disadvantage from not knowing the size of the bird nor the habitat. Your guess is inspired, but no, the bird is not a wheatear.
You have two more go's, but be quick - someone might pip you.
* Full disclosure: I have seen this bird in Lincolnshire, but I was unable to come up with the answer so I had to ask the report's authors.
