Records Part 1 (Divers to Ducks)
Records Part 2 (Birds of Prey to Terns/Puffins)
Records Part 3 (Pigeons to Buntings)

Notes:

A 'site' may be either a recognised birding locality - eg Covenham Res, Kirkby Pits - or a 'local patch'. For the former, report highest monthly sightings even if you only visit once or twice a year; for the latter, the site should be visited on average at least twice a month. Sets of recording forms, listing all the 'monthly max species' are available for anyone working a local patch.

BBRC
National rarity: description required for submission to BBRC. Records in this category are never published in the annual report or input to the database if they have not been submitted to BBRC.

LBRC
Rare or scarce in Lincs: full description required for consideration by the Lincs Bird Record Committee.

(LBRC)
Rare or scarce in Lincs: some supporting details of sighting required by the Lincs Bird record Committee. Records in these two categories may not be published in the annual report or added to the database without the required information.

RBBP
Nationally scarce breeding species monitored by the Rare Breeding Birds Panel; any breeding season sighting in suitable habitat should be reported to the County Recorder asap.
