Yellow Wagtail

'The following photographs are of the bird photographed at Barton pits in late April 1988. Note the pure grey uppers from bill to rump, blackish uppertail coverts, pale lemon super and chin, washed out underparts, but narrow median covert bar and no greater covert bar and the odd yellow outer web to the outer tertial. I did consider it may have been a Citrine/flava hybrid but I have sent them to experts who say it is just an odd flava.'
