Common Tern

The shots were taken on June 20th 2002 at North Kelsey Moor. I was sitting in my car, which was parked on the reservoir bank, when a two Common Terns landed on plastic barrels that were floating on the water at a range of about 30 yards. I had no tripod in the car and dare not fetch it from the boot, for fear of flushing the birds. The images were obtained by digital camera through Swarovski 'scope with the 'scope resting on a bean bag on the car window.
